Earlier today, Boy Genius Report posted word via a leaked road map from AT&T that the wireless carrier would begin selling the Nokia Lumia 900 on March 18 for a mere $99.99 with a two year contract. Now that same web site is reporting that another Windows Phone-based device will be made available on AT&T on that same day.
That phone is the HTC Titan II, which was officially announced earlier this month at CES 2012. BGR claims that the phone will be on sale on March 18 for a price of $199.99 with a new two year contract.
Just to recap: The HTC Titan II will have some of the same hardware specs as the first HTC Titan that launched in late 2011. The Titan II will have a 4.7 inch screen, a 1.5 GHz Snapdragon S2 processor and a 1.3 megapixel front facing camera. The two big differences between the Titan and the Titan II are that the new smartphone will have added support for AT&T"s LTE network and it will have a rear camera with a massive 16 megapixels.
Having two big Windows Phone smartphones released on the same day will certainly make the current smartphone wars even more interesting going forward.
