Reset debut in-engine trailer looks awesome

Sometimes you are surprised when you see a game you have never heard of before from a development team that has recently been revealed. Today is such a day as developer Theory Interactive has just launched its debut trailer for its first game project, Reset.

The trailer is made on the company"s own in-house graphics engine, Praxis. Theory Interactive insists that the trailer is not pre-rendered but comes from the game engine itself, " ... no up-ressed textures, geometry or effects. What you see is what you will get." In fact, the trailer is showing pre-alpha footage so we would think that the final product will look even better.

The developer says that Reset is "a single player co-op first person puzzle game with a strong emphasis on story and atmosphere." The game also supposedly has a time travel element where your character goes back in time and solves problems with their past self.

While there"s no gameplay to actually be found in this debut trailer, it does set up the game"s premise of a world that has seen better days and of some kind of robot that"s just about to be reactivated after years of being shut down.

Reset currently is a PC exclusive but there"s no word on a release date.
