Resident Evil 7 new DLC and Gold Edition arrives in December

Capcom announced back in April that it has delayed Resident Evil 7: Biohazard"s "Not a Hero" story DLC, stating it did not meet the base game"s quality standards. Today, there is some good news for the horror title"s fans, with the developer announcing that Not a Hero, as well as another piece of DLC content titled "End of Zoe" will be available later this year on December 12.

Not a Hero will be available free of charge to all Resident Evil 7 owners, arriving with a new storyline set after the base game"s ending. The DLC marks the return of Chris Redfield to the series as a protagonist. Meanwhile, End of Zoe, as the name suggests, will let players experience what befell Zoe in the storyline. This DLC will be available as part of the game"s season pass or for $14.99 as a separate purchase.

Alongside the DLC launch, Capcom will also be launching an all-in-one Gold Edition for the game, which will include the base game and all DLC packs including Banned Footage Vol. 1, Banned Footage Vol. 2, as well as the aforementioned new DLC.

Resident Evil 7 Biohazard Gold Edition will also be available on December 12 for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. Sadly, there is no word yet on when will the PC version get the VR capabilities that the PlayStation 4 received at launch.
