Rocket League drives onto the Xbox One; now available for download

Rocket League, which quickly became a must-have game over on the Steam and PlayStation platforms, is now finally available for the Xbox One.

The popular football/car mashup game was announced as coming to Microsoft’s platform quite a while ago, but it was only last week that we learned of its official launch date. And keeping true to that deadline, Rocket League can now be downloaded to your Xbox One consoles.

The game retails for $19.99, but Xbox owners are getting some extra content to sweeten the deal, including DLC and exclusive skins. More precisely, those who purchase the game will be getting three DLC packs with no extra charge:

  • "Supersonic Fury” – Two Premium Battle-Cars, 12 Decals, 5 Paint types, 2 Rocket Trails, 2 Wheels
  • Revenge of the Battle-Cars” – Two Premium Battle-Cars, 12 Decals, 3 Paint types, 2 Rocket Trails, 2 Wheels, 4 Toppers, 2 Antennas
  • Chaos Run” – Two Premium Battle-Cars, 12 Decals, 2 Wheels, 2 Rocket Trails, 3 Toppers, 3 Antennas

Xbox One owners who are getting Rocket League will also get exclusive vehicles like the Warthog from Halo and the Armadillo from Gears of War. Other skins from Microsoft titles are also expected to show up.
