Hours before doors open to Apple Stores and all the major carriers here in Canada, Rogers, Fido and Bell all released prices for the iPhone 4, including special price promotions for data plans.
Rogers has confirmed that the iPhone 4 (black) 16GB will retail for $159 and the 32GB model will sell for $269 with a 3-year term voice and data plan contract. The iPhone 4 will only be available in black around the world until Apple solves the light leakage problem with the white model. Along with the release of the iPhone 4 on all the carriers in Canada, they will also be offering a special price promotion as they did last year, 6GB of data a month for $30.
Rogers and Bell will also be offering a special iPad 3G data sharing plan. Rogers will be offering this deal for $20 on top of your monthly data plan, while Bell will sell this for only $10 a month. Still no mention if Fido or Telus will be offering this deal at the time of writing.
All the major carriers will also be dropping the price of the iPhone 3GS 8GB (black) to $99, including a $50 rebate, with a 3-year voice and data contract.
You can pick up the iPhone 4 in Canada and 16 other countries around the world starting tomorrow, but warned of limited quantities. Most places are offering the iPhone 4 on a first come, first serve basis. Rogers and Fido can enter their phone number on their website and see if they are eligible for an upgrade.
