Rudy Huyn and Tinder make up; Huyn to help make official Tinder Windows Phone app

The saga between messaging app company Tinder and acclaimed Windows Phone developer Rudy Huyn is over and it"s a win-win for both parties. Huyn has confirmed on his Twitter page today he will now help develop an official Tinder app for Microsoft"s mobile OS.

The good news brings to an end a dispute that began last week when Huyn"s 6tindr, a third party app based on Tinder, was released on the Windows Phone Store.  A few days later, 6tindr was removed from the store at the request of Tinder but Huyn then launched an online campaign asking the company to change its mind.

The effort got the attention of Tinder CEO Sean Rad, who indicated on his own Twitter account that he would like to chat with Huyn personally. Obviously the chat was held this week and the result is that Huyn will be a part of making an official Tinder app for Windows Phone.

The only bad thing about the deal is that the 6tindr app won"t be released again. However, Huyn did state on Twitter they "will try to make the best user experience ever made" with the official Tinder app.
