Rumor: Google Nexus 4G details revealed?

Are you ready for the ultimate Android-based phone (at least so far)? The web site Boy Genius Report has just posted up a story that claims to have some of the hardware details behind the Google Nexus 4G and if these details are indeed true this phone will truly be a humg dinger of a device. The story claims that the Google Nexus 4G phone will have a dual-core processor with speeds of either 1.2 GHz or 1.5 Ghz. It also will have 1 GB of RAM on board along with a 4G LTE radio and a “monster-sized” screen with 720p resolution and 1080p HD video capture and playback.

The device will be running Android 4.0, the next major revisioin of Google"s Android mobile platform (otherwise known to some by its code name Ice Cream Sandwich). It will also have a 1 megapixel front facing camera, likely for video chat, along with a 5 megapixel rear camera that is supposed to have "class-leading image quality in addition to superior low-light performance." Naturally Google has not yet officially confirmed any of these details so keep them in mind with a grain of salt.

The story claims that Google wants to get the phone available for sale by Thanksgiving, just in time for some holiday shopping choices. There"s also no word yet on which carrier might sell the Google Nexus 4G. The story also speculates that this phone could be the flagship device for the introduction of the Android 4.0 operating system.
