With Xiaomi expected to unveil its Poco F1 “affordable flagship” on August 22nd, and rumoured specifications being released, the only thing we were really waiting on was a price estimate – now we’ve got that. According to sources talking to MySmartPrice, the Poco F1 is expected to launch in India with a price tag of ₹25,000 – that’s roughly $360, €315, or £280 – a far cry from other flagship devices being sold today.
According to the sources, the ₹25,000 price tag will be for the variant with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. There may also be a version with 64GB of storage which will be cheaper but no price was given. If the price tag is accurate, it means that the Poco F1 will be the cheapest Snapdragon 845-powered phone in the country.
Interestingly, the latest rumour suggests the device ships with 6GB of RAM, however, in our previous coverage, rumour had it that the device would come with 8GB of RAM so it’ll be interesting to keep up with the announcement to find out which rumour was correct.
Be sure to check Neowin on Wednesday, August 22nd for our coverage of the Xiaomi Poco F1 where we will bring you the phones specs, price, and any other announcements that are made.
