Several weeks after Apple announced new Animoji characters and the diverse raft of Memojis, Samsung has announced that it has brought two new Disney characters to its AR Emoji line-up - those being Daisy Duck and Goofy. The new characters join other Disney favourites including Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, The Incredibles Family, and the latter’s friend, Frozone.
The new characters are available on all devices that support AR Emoji, namely the Galaxy S9 and the S9+. To add Daisy Duck and Goofy to your roster, just tap the plus icon on the right-hand corner in the camera’s AR Emoji mode, there you’ll be taken to the Galaxy Apps Store where you can grab the two characters.
In addition to the Incredibles that Samsung added not long ago, the firm also announced that it had doubled the number of available stickers that users could drop into conversations, based on AR Emoji that had been created. Samsung said it would soon be bringing the number of available stickers based on AR Emoji to 54.
Samsung said that it is looking to collaborate further with Disney to continue updating the roster of AR Emoji that Samsung customers can use. It said to be on the lookout in the coming months for new updates.
