Quite a few rumors surrounding Samsung"s upcoming mid-range device dubbed the Galaxy A90 have been circulating the internet over the last couple of months. Earlier this year, a leak claimed that the device could feature a sliding rear camera that would also rotate for selfie shooting. However, Samsung later unveiled a different phone with that camera design, the Galaxy A80.
While we have yet to see whether the Galaxy A90 will indeed be featuring the same rear camera gimmick, a new report offers some new glimpses of the device with respect to its connectivity and camera resolution. First, it claims that Samsung is conducting a test for a 5G variant of the handset in South Korea. In addition, the Galaxy A90 5G is supposedly rocking a 32MP+8MP camera. The device reportedly bears the model number SM-A908N.
Further details about the phone remain a mystery for now as far as the report goes. But Ice Universe, a prolific leaker of all things Samsung, shared on Twitter today another interesting feature of the Galaxy A90 5G. The leaker claimed that the handset will be supporting a 45W fast charging technology.
It"s not clear at present, though, when the South Korean tech giant will be announcing the device. But a recent listing on Samsung"s UK website, albeit devoid of significant details, indicate that at least the standard Galaxy A90 will be seeing the light of day in the future along with the A40 and A20e.
