Samsung today announced the Galaxy A51 and the Galaxy A71, successor to its popular mid-range smartphones the Galaxy A50 and Galaxy A70 from earlier this year.
In terms of specs and design, the Galaxy A51 and Galaxy A71 do not represent a major upgrade over their predecessors. Instead, Samsung has focused on improving their camera performance and added a new dedicated macro camera sensor to both handsets
The Galaxy A51 and Galaxy A71 are also the first mid-range smartphones announced from Samsung running Android 10 with One UI 2.0 out of the box.
The Galaxy A51 comes with a 6.5-inch Infinity-O FHD+ AMOLED display. The 172g heavy handset packs a quad-camera system at the rear which gives it a very unique look. The phone continues to feature a plastic body, though the new color options do make it look attractive.

The Galaxy A71 packs a bigger display and more powerful internals when compared to the Galaxy A51. Its quad-camera system is also more capable and it now includes a primary 64MP camera.

There was no word from Samsung on the availability and pricing of the Galaxy A51 and Galaxy A71. However, these device should slowly start making their way to international markets over the coming few weeks.
