Contrary to previous rumors, Samsung will not be using an under-display selfie camera on the Galaxy Fold 2 since it is not ready. Instead, the company is now planning on using a punch-hole layout. Interestingly, this time around, Samsung also intends to add S-Pen support to the Galaxy Fold 2 to enhance its tablet experience.

Similar to the Galaxy Z Flip, Samsung is planning to use an ultra-thin glass on the Galaxy Fold 2"s primary display with a protective plastic cover on top to help protect it from impact. As was discovered with the Galaxy Z Flip though, this ultra-thin glass is basically plastic with only some properties of glass and it does not really offer much in terms of scratch-resistance.

Samsung is likely to announce the Galaxy Fold 2 alongside the Galaxy Note20 series in July. The company could ship the Fold 2 with lower base internal storage so that it has a lower starting price tag.
