After quite a few rumors and leaks, Samsung has started rolling out the One UI 2.1 update for the Galaxy Note9. The update brings a number of new goodies and enhancements to the Note device.
Many of the features that are a part of this update were first debuted by Samsung on the Galaxy S20 series earlier this year. This includes new Quick Share and Music Share features. The former will let one easily share large files using Wi-Fi with other Galaxy devices. Think of Quick Share as Samsung"s answer to AirDrop. As for Music Share, it will let your friends stream music to Bluetooth speakers that are paired with your Note.
The Camera app has also been updated as a part of the update and gains the new Single Take mode where the device will capture a number of photos and videos to create a memorable moment. Additionally, the Galaxy Note9 gains Pro Video mode as a part of the update which allows one to control the ISO, white balance, and other aspects of the camera while recording videos. Samsung had already rolled out the One UI 2.1 update for the Galaxy S10 and Note10 devices earlier this year.
The One UI 2.1 update is currently rolling out for the Galaxy Note9 in Germany, though a wider rollout should commence in the coming few weeks.
