Less than a week after a detailed set of Galaxy S11 renders leaked, the first batch of Galaxy S11+ renders have also made their way to the internet.
The CAD renders, courtesy of @OnLeaks and CashKaro, show off the Galaxy S11+ in 5K resolution from many different angles. On the front, the Galaxy S11+ looks similar to the Galaxy S11 with a centered punch-hole and smaller bezels. It does, however, come with a bigger display which the renders peg to be around 6.9-inches with a possibly higher 120Hz refresh rate.
The CAD renderings point to the Galaxy S11 measuring roughly 166.9 x 76 x 8.8 mm. Like the Galaxy S11, the power and volume buttons are located on the left edge of the device, while the bottom houses the USB-C port and a speaker.
Samsung is not going to include a headphone jack on the Galaxy S11+ but that should not be surprising since the company has already ditched it with the Note 10 series this year.
It is the rear where things get very interesting. We saw an L-shaped camera layout on the Galaxy S11, but on the Galaxy S11+, there is a massive elongated squarish camera bump that houses 5 different camera sensors along with an LED flash and two other small sensors.
One of the tiny sensors could be a LaserAF sensor aimed at improving the autofocus performance, while the other one might be a ToF sensor which Samsung first debuted on the Galaxy S10+ 5G and Note 10+ this year.
The renders at least indicate that unlike the Galaxy S10 and S10+, which had the same camera setup, the Galaxy S11 and S11+ will have different camera systems with the latter packing in more sensors.
The exact camera specs of the Galaxy S11+ are not known right now but rumors point to Samsung using a 108MP primary camera sensor and a 5x telephoto sensor. It is rumored that the device can record 8K videos and offer some innovative new camera modes. A Geekbench listing points to the Galaxy S11 shipping with 12GB RAM and an Exynos 990 chipset.
