After months of leaks and rumors, it appears that we are finally getting some detailed images of the upcoming Galaxy S8. The alleged images offer a look at the handset and even show off a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Although we did get a physical look at the handset last month, we didn"t get to see the device with the screen on. To the right, you can see an actual image of a working Galaxy S8 handset. The device offers thin bezels and even gets rid of the Galaxy"s home button and swaps them out for on-screen buttons.
While we have seen the above in one way or another previously, what we get confirmation of, if these images are real, is the fact that Samsung will be keeping the 3.5mm handset on its device. This has been a high contention point, with some seeing the benefit of ditching the port versus manufacturers simply doing away with it to sell more accessories.
Luckily, we are only a month away from the official reveal of the handset. Samsung will be holding its "Unpacked" event on March 29 with rumors that it would be launching the handset for retail sometime the following month.
