Samsung Galaxy Watch Active2 4G Aluminium Edition launched in India

Samsung India has added a new Aluminium Edition to its existing range of Galaxy Watch Active2 4G smartwatches. The new variant costs ₹28,490, and will go on sale from July 11. Samsung has also announced that, going forward, its entire range of Galaxy smartwatches will be manufactured in India.

The new Samsung Galaxy Watch Active2 4G Aluminium Edition will be offered in three finishes – Cloud Silver, Aqua Black and Pink Gold. It will be available via offline retail stores, Samsung Opera House, Samsung.com, and other e-commerce sites. Buyers can also take advantage of a 10 percent cashback, as well as no-cost EMI offers (up to six months) before July 31, 2020.

Samsung’s smartwatch features dimensions of 44x44x10.9mm, and it weighs 30 grams. There is a 1.4-inch Super AMOLED display with 360x360 pixels resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass DX+ protection. Under the hood is 1.5GB of RAM, and 4GB internal memory. Powering the wearable is a 340mAh battery. Connectivity options include an embedded 4G LTE e-SIM card, Bluetooth v5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n 2.4GHz, NFC, GPS, and Glonass.

For fitness enthusiasts, the smartwatch is capable of tracking up to 39 exercises. Samsung further claims that the wearable now boasts of improved sleep analysis and stress algorithms. There is also a built-in Samsung Health platform that syncs all the fitness-related data in one place.
