Samsung has announced the global launch of The Wall Luxury at InfoComm 2019 which is taking place in Orlando, Florida. Building on its work with The Wall, Samsung has made The Wall Luxury even more immersive with screen sizes ranging from 73” (2K definition) to 292” (8K definition).
In order to blend in with its surroundings, The Wall Luxury has a depth of just 3cm, a bezel-less infinity display and customisable decor frames. These things combined will ensure that users are able to focus entirely on the picture. When you’re done watching your programmes, The Wall Luxury will switch to Ambient Mode displaying a variety of artworks.
The screen employs an AI picture quality engine dubbed Quantum Processor Flex to deliver optimised picture quality scene-by-scene. Additionally, Quantum HDR technology will ensure that you get the best brightness and refresh rate of 120Hz which Samsung describes as “second-to-none”.
The Korean firm said the display will go on sale globally from next month but it hasn’t revealed the pricing. Given that it’s oriented towards luxury venues, the pricing can be expected to be quite grand.
