Samsung revealed the Galaxy S6 Edge+ and Note 5 at its "Unpacked" event earlier last week, but it didn"t show off any new wearables like many had hoped. Now, it looks as though Samsung is finally ready to reveal its latest smartwatch, the "Gear S2" at the upcoming IFA consumer electronics show being held in Berlin.
While Samsung has yet to release details of the device, they did release a fairly revealing video on YouTube. The watch will deviate from its past units by adopting a circular design as opposed to the traditional square. The design looks to be fairly minimal and according to previous reports, should have a rotating bezel that will assist in navigating the new UI. If the reported specifications are to be believed, Samsung should have a fairly competent wearable on its hands when released.
Naturally, we will have to wait until IFA in Berlin, where Samsung has set a date of September 3rd to reveal its latest Gear watch.
