Samsung rolls out Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow to Galaxy S5 in Italy

After launching its first Marshmallow upgrades for the Galaxy S5 in its home market of South Korea last month, Samsung began its international rollout for the device a few days later.

The update has been gradually making its way to the handset in various markets since then, including Germany this week. Now, Marshmallow has arrived for the Galaxy S5 in Italy.

As SamMobile reports, Android 6.0.1 is rolling out now for all unlocked variants of the Galaxy S5 there. As on other Galaxy devices, along with the various improvements that Google has packed into Marshmallow, Samsung has made its own additions, including its TouchWiz user interface.

While the rollout is now underway, it may take a while before all eligible handsets are upgraded, so if it doesn"t appear on your Galaxy S5 in Italy just yet, give it a bit more time.
