Discussing the new phone, DJ Koh, President and CEO of IT & Mobile Communications Division at Samsung Electronics, said:

The Galaxy A Series provides a range of models so everyone can choose a device that fits their unique needs and enables them to pursue their passions. The Galaxy A80 offers premium features for digital natives who want to fully engage in the Era of Live.”

Perhaps the most intriguing aspect of this phone is the rotating camera, a first for Samsung. The phone includes a triple camera for shooting the best pictures. When you enter selfie mode, the camera pops up from the back of the phone and rotates to face you. This mechanism lets you use the powerful rear camera for your selfie shots too, meaning you don’t lose any quality, typical of other selfie cameras.

Users will also get the typical products they"ve come to expect from a device including the firm"s AI, Bixby, Knox security, and support for apps such as Samsung Health and Samsung Pay. The Galaxy A80 also includes a dedicated button making it easier to call on Bixby"s assistance.

According to Sammobile, the Galaxy A80 will be available in markets across Europe, Middle East, Russia, Asia, Australia, New Zealand, China, and Hong Kong from May 29 for €649/$730.
