Samsung has recently launched a new flip smartphone in China, called the Galaxy Folder 2. The device is one of the very few flip-phones Samsung is putting out today, like the SM-W2016, the SM-G9198, and SCH-W2014, which were all limited to the aforementioned country.
The Galaxy Folder 2 has a 3.8-inch TFT WVGA display, with a 480x800 screen resolution. Under the hood, it is powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core Snapdragon 425 processor together with an Adreno 308 GPU. It also has 2GB of RAM, with 16GB of internal storage. If you run out of space, you can opt to have your storage expanded via microSD, up to 128GB.
As for its camera specs, it features an 8-megapixel rear camera, with f/1.9 aperture, full HD video recording, and an LED flash. There"s a selfie camera as well, coming in at 5 megapixels with another f/1.9 for aperture.
Furthermore, it has 4G LTE with VoLTE capability, USB 2.0 connectivity, and it is powered by a 1,950mAh battery, which Samsung claims can provide a standby time of about 318 hours. It runs Android Marshmallow onboard.
The Galaxy Folder 2 is now listed at Samsung China"s website, although there is no information yet how much the handset will cost, or when (and where) it will be available.
