Samsung has just unveiled a new convertible laptop which the company is calling the Notebook 7 spin. The device comes with Windows 10 and is supposedly designed for those who love to consume content and browser the web.
Samsung looks to be getting into the back-to-school mood, and the company is taking a stab at the mid-range of the market. Starting at $799.99, the Notebook 7 spin comes in two flavors: with a 15.6-inch screen and a 13-inch screen. Both versions come with full HD touchscreens, that rotate up to 360-degrees around the keyboard, making the device usable in any position.
Some other specs of the Samsung Notebook 7 spin are as follows:
- Intel Core i5 or i7 processors
- 1TB HDD, upgradeable with an SSD
- Up to 12GB RAM
- Backlit keyboard
- Quick charging with both devices reaching 100% battery in about 90 minutes
- HDR-mode for video
It’s worth noting that according to the company’s description, HDR-mode sounds like nothing more than a software color enhancement and not true HDR. Still, given its price range, the Notebook 7 spin might be a good choice for those of you out and about.
Earlier this year Samsung introduced the higher-end Notebook 9 series and the Galaxy TabPro S, and the new Notebook 7 spin rounds up the company’s offerings.
The Notebook 7 spin will go on sale on June 26th, starting at $799.99 and will be available on Samsung.com and at Best Buy.
