Samsung is known for its high-end flagships like the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+. That said, it also offers a range of flip phones every year that retain an old school style, but also offer quite a bit of power under the hood. While the Galaxy Folder 2 was announced late last year for China, it looks like Samsung is keen on showing off its handset once again, this time making it available in South Korea.
The design might look older thanks to its flip phone roots, but it still manages to capture the eye with its sleek accents and metal exterior finish. Like many of its other higher-end flip phone models, the handset runs on Android, utilizing version 6.0 Marshmallow. The device is powered by Qualcomm"s Snapdragon 425 processor and 2GB RAM, while utilizing a display that measures in at 96mm, or roughly 3.8-inches. The phone will also offer 16 GB of internal storage, which can be expanded to 256 GB via microSD.
The Galaxy Folder 2 will be available in South Korea and will come in two colors: black and burgundy. It will be available to purchase as an LTE or 3G model and will be priced at 297,000 won, which is roughly around $260.
