Samsung's Galaxy Note 5 to supposedly be unveiled on August 12th

For those of you anxiously waiting for the Galaxy Note 5, or maybe even the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, there’s some good news coming your way. According to sources both devices will be unveiled in less than a month.

Lots of phablet fans have been waiting for Samsung’s latest Note device, with numerous rumors pointing to an unexpectedly early launch. Now SamMobile’s sources claim that the newest Note will see the light of day on August 12th.

The Galaxy S6 Edge+, or Plus, will also be unveiled on the same day, featuring a bigger screen and possible bumped up specs, alongside its iconic curved edge. Both devices, the Note 5 and the new Edge, will supposedly go on sale on August 21st.

As for the specs of the new Note 5 there aren’t many clear indications of what’s actually coming but here are some of the rumors:

  • Almost identical design to S6 but with a thinner screen bezel
  • 4GB of RAM
  • Redesigned Pen which now color matches the phablet
  • NO MicroSD support

Unfortunately, that’s about everything we know about the new device, though if this report turns out to be true, fans have only a short while left to go before they see the device for themselves.
