Samsung's Galaxy S8 will still offer quick camera access through a button

After months of leaks, we are only a few days away from the launch of Samsung"s Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+. For quite some time, we have known about the devices expanded bezel-less displays and how they would not have the customary home button. But, with the home button removed, how would Samsung implement its traditional shortcut to gain quick access to the camera?

According to a new set of images, Samsung will implement the feature by having users double click the power button. Previously, the firm implemented this action by relying on a double-tap of the home button. Since this is not available anymore, making use of the power button would seem like one of only a handful of solutions.

Along with the new handsets, Samsung is expected to also reveal its DeX Station, along with its digital assistant, Bixby, at its Unpacked event on March 29. If you"d like to get a more intimate experience, you might want to download the UNPACKED 2017 app to your device, that will give you access to event info, videos, and a live stream when it becomes available.
