Samsung's latest Android flip phone has dual 4.2-inch displays, 4GB RAM, and a 12MP camera

It was only a couple of days ago when we reported on two separate leaks that showed off a new Android flip phone from Samsung. The firm has been known to offer some stellar options in the past and has now finally revealed a new device, showing off its sleek design and impressive specifications.

As we know from previous leaks, the SM-G9298, also going by the translated name of "Leadership 8", has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor, 4GB RAM, and also packs 64GB of internal storage with expansion via microSD. The handset also has two 4.2-inch 1080p AMOLED displays, a 12MP rear camera, and 5MP selfie shooter. The device will also have a fingerprint reader on the rear, support wireless charging, and will have a battery capacity of 2,300mAh.

While smartphones in a flip form factor have always been quite fascinating, those outside of Asia have rarely, if at all, had the chance to experience it in the flesh. Sadly, this will also seem to be the case with this latest release, as the SM-G9298 doesn"t look to be coming out of Asia. The latest model will most likely remain as an exclusive to the region, being available to those on the China Mobile network.
