Next week, Samsung will take the wraps off its long-awaited and much leaked Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+. While we have seen pretty much everything that they have to offer, there is still the matter of the upcoming DeX Station accessory that will be accompanying the Galaxy S8 handsets at launch.
According to the folks at Winfuture.de, they have uncovered quite a few details about the DeX Station and how it will utilize the power of the upcoming handsets to provide a desktop-like PC experience. The dock will offer a variety of ports like two full-sized USB 2.0 inputs, a USB Type-C port, Ethernet jack, and will also have fans that will actively cool the handsets when docked. Furthermore, it will be able to output to a monitor via HDMI at 4K at 30fps.
Naturally, this all sounds very exciting and we will only have to wait a short time before all is revealed. If the more recent leaks are to be believed, the Galaxy S8 and S8+ will arrive in three colors and will be priced starting at €799 for the S8 and €899 for the S8+. The DeX Station will be reportedly price at €149.99. Samsung will reveal details about all the aforementioned devices at its Unpacked event on March 29.
