The Galaxy Watch4 and Watch4 Classic are expected to show up at Samsung"s rumored Unpacked event next month. However, it seems someone at Amazon Canada killed the anticipation for Samsung"s next-gen smartwatches by listing them prior to the launch event.
Based on the listing, both the Watch4 and Watch4 Classic feature a radial dial. These watches have a metal body and are water resistant. In terms of software, Samsung will ditch its in-house Tizen OS in favor of Google"s Wear OS.
For starters, the Watch4 comes in 40mm and 44mm sizes. The latter sports a 1.36-inch display whereas the 40mm variant settles for a 1.19-inch screen. The Watch4 Classic will be available in 42mm and 46mm options. The 42mm model sports a 1.19-inch screen, while the larger variant offers a 1.36-inch display.
In terms of connectivity, you get Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, NFC, and GPS. Amazon lists several other features such as Body Composition Analysis, Advanced Sleep, V02 Max, Blood Oxygen Monitoring, and Heart Rate Monitor. Like most Android Wear watches, the Galaxy Watch4 series will play nice with Android and iOS devices.
As of this writing, these pages are still live on Amazon Canada, albeit marked as TBC (To Be Confirmed). As per the early screenshot acquired by SamMobile, the Watch4 line-up is likely to be available for purchase on August 27.
