SanDisk 100MB/s High Endurance 256GB microSD is selling for more than 40% off

If you are looking around for some fast SD cards for your camera, your phone, or just in general, Amazon US right now is having some great deals. That"s because SanDisk"s High Endurance microSD card lineup is currently selling at nice discounts. In particular, the 256GB model is 41% off, but the other capacity variants are also carrying decent discounts.

The only difference between them is that the 32GB variant is a microSDHC standard, while the 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB cards are microSDXC.

These SanDisk High Endurance microSD cards can read at speeds of up to 100MB/s which means even watching high-fidelity 8K videos on it shouldn"t be a problem. As can be seen in the image above, the product is a Class 10 UHS Speed Class 3 (U3) product with a Video Speed Class rating of V30.

However, even though it"s a V30, SanDisk has specced these cards at 40MB/s write speeds. The SD Association recommends Full HD and HD videos for this class of products.

If you"re wondering why these are called "High Endurance" microSD cards, SanDisk says you can do lots of reads and writes on these memory cards. The 256GB variant is rated for up to 20,000 hours of Full HD video recording. The lower capacity variants too have similar endurance ratings corresponding to their capacities, ie, the 128GB is rated at 10,000 hours, and so on.

Hence, if you are someone who frequently uses their SD card, and not keep it as a backup storage, the SanDisk High Endurance microSD is ideal for you.
