Scrapped Google Pixel 4a XL rear panel shows up on eBay

All the leaks so far point to Google unlikely to release a Pixel 4a XL this year. Previous rumors have pointed towards there only being a Pixel 4a this year and all recent leaks have also been about it. A purported listing of the Pixel 4a XL"s back cover has popped up on eBay which confirms that Google was at one point in time at least working on the device, though for some reason, it decided to abandon its development.

The rear panel design of the Pixel 4a XL is a mix of the Pixel 4 and the Pixel 4a -- it retains the same squarish camera hump as the former but adopts the larger camera holes as seen on the latter"s leaked images. The back panel also points to Google possibly shipping the Pixel 4a XL with a dual-camera setup.

A leak from earlier today detailed everything about the Pixel 4a. It confirmed that the device will feature a 5.81-inch FHD+ OLED display, Snapdragon 730 chip, pack 6GB RAM, and will be available in 64GB and 128GB storage variants. It will also feature a 3,080mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. As for the camera, the phone will have a single 12.2MP shooter at the rear and an 8MP selfie camera at the front.
