Sega Unveils 3D Display

Sega unveiled a unique glass-free 3D display at the Amusement Showcase International Expo today. Developed in participation with SynthaGram, the monitor is capable of displaying both 2D and 3D images without the requirement of the viewer to wear special glasses. Sega showed the impact of the monitor by displaying several arcade games utilizing the display including Virtua Cop 3 at the show.

According to company representatives, the display is ideal for use in amusements, retailers, tradeshows, corporate lobbys, museums, and theme parks.

Speaking at the event, Sega Amusement president Howell Ivy said, "Using the SynthaGram monitor in our booth will be a great way to attract a crowd and pull people into our booth. Getting tradeshow attendees into the booth is the key objective of a tradeshow, and the SynthaGram is perfect at meeting the challenge by using stunning 3D content."
