Shadow of the Tomb Raider's first DLC, The Forge, will bring a lava-filled co-op tomb

Lara Croft"s newest adventure landed only last month, and Square Enix has already announced when can players expect more content for the heroine to tackle. Arriving as the first DLC pack of the seven planned additions, The Forge will be heading to Shadow of the Tomb Raider season pass holders and as a separate purchase next month.

The DLC will introduce a new lava-filled tomb for players to raid, and interestingly, it will be playable in both solo and co-op. Completing the DLC will also net players the "Grenadier skill, Brocken outfit, and Umbrage 3-80 weapon" to call their own.

As for the setting, here"s what the press release had to say:

In “The Forge”, Lara must brave the lava-flooded Forge of the fallen gods to uncover the secrets of Kuwaq Yaku. Throughout her journey, Lara will uncover details about a friend’s ancient legacy, and overcome a danger long thought to be lost in flame.

As previously mentioned, this is only the first of seven planned DLC packs that will arrive for the game, with one being released every month. The DLC will have their own tombs, new co-op challenges, story-based side-missions, customization items, and more.

The Forge releases on November 13 for Xbox One, PC, and PlayStation 4 simultaneously, and will cost $4.99 when purchasing standalone, but the $29.99 Shadow of the Tomb Raider season pass will give access to the full seven-DLC roster in one package.
