Bethesda announced a VR version of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim at E3 2017, which arrived as an exclusive for the PlayStation 4"s PSVR headset, late last year. But, it seems that the exclusivity period has finally come to an end, with the company revealing today a PC version of the VR title. The new announcement trailer can be seen above.
Skyrim VR comes laden with the entire base game and, unlike Fallout 4 VR, all of its official DLC packs, Hearthfire, Dawnguard, as well as Dragonborn, giving fans the opportunity to go through the Dragonborn"s complete journey, either for the first time or as a returning player, in VR.
Bethesda describes the massively popular RPG"s VR port as follows:
In Skyrim VR, battling cursed Draugr, exploring rugged mountainsides and hunting fearsome, ancient dragons is more immersive than ever, aided by a made-for-VR control scheme that allows players to move, hack and slash at foes, and cast powerful magic with real-life movements.
Skyrim VR will be playable using the HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, and Windows Mixed Reality headsets, and will be available on April 3 via Steam with a $59.99 price tag.
