No sooner than the new chips are released AMD announces yet another CPU price slashing, this time from its XP range. AMD will drop the AthlonXP prices on October 29th.

- AMD XP 1600+ from $160 to $124
- AMD XP 1700+ from $190 to $152
- AMD XP 1800+ from $252 to $210
