Soldier of Fortune II 1.03 patch released

New fixes and additional features abound in this latest patch for Raven"s popular action game.

Activision has released Soldier of Fortune II: Double Helix Update 1.03, offering gamers some much need relief from some bugs and some new features to Raven Software"s popular mercenary-for-hire action game for the PC.

A few of the major changes include:

Added rebuilt mp_col2 to fix known map hole.
Added new Kamchatka map mp_kam5
Added new Jordan map mp_jor1
Added new Shop map mp_shop2
Added new shell art to update to GOLD Edition
Fixed disappearing weapon issue on certain maps

You can grab the full install (if you haven"t updated to version 1.02) or the "lite" update (for those of you that have already patched to v1.02). (On a side note, Caryn Law of Activision pointed out that server admins don"t need new dedicated server binaries to be compatible with the 1.03 build.).
