It was only a couple days ago when HTC announced that it would be bringing 60fps recording to its U11 handset. While the company stated that it would be rolling out over the coming months, it appears that those in Taiwan have already started receiving the update.
The update comes as build number 1.26.709.3 and is a pretty large download coming in at a sizeable 624.59 MB. Along with the enhancement to the camera that will allow users to shoot video in 1080p at 60fps, it also has the July 2017 Android security patch, as well as other bug fixes and enhancements.
The U11 has been on the market for a few months and, according to HTC, has already outsold its two immediate predecessors. This comes as no surprise as the handset offers the latest set of specifications, along with a sleek design. The firm has also been fairly aggressive when it comes to promotions, frequently discounting the handset by $50.
Those that are interested can head to the HTC website to pick up the U11 in either a 64GB or 128GB variant.
