Today, Sony announced the new Alpine Green color scheme for its DualShock 4 controller. The design is inspired by natural themes, with a two-tone dark green and white look, with some gold accents around the D-pad.
The new controller will be available starting April 15 and joins an already large range of DualShock 4 color models, including Magma Red, Wave Blue, and Green Camouflage.
Microsoft also introduced a new color scheme for its Xbox Wireless Controller this week, though that one is a bit more unique thanks to its translucent body and a gold-colored PCB. Sony has offered translucent editions of its controller, such as the 500 Million Limited Edition announced last summer, but those may be harder to find now.
Pre-orders for the Alpine Green DualShock 4 aren"t open yet, but you can keep an eye on the dedicated page to know when it"s available. It will cost $64.99 in the U.S and $74.99 in Canada. Those in Europe will want to check pricing with local retailers.
