Sony has been working hard to expand availability of its PlayStation Vue streaming TV service lately. After bringing it to Android TV last month, it also made its way to PC and Mac via the web a couple of weeks ago.
Today, Sony announced that PlayStation Vue has launched on Apple TV, "one of the most highly requested devices", according to the company.
PlayStation Vue is supported on the fourth-generation Apple TV, and Sony says that users "will be able to take advantage of Apple TV"s Siri Remote and easy navigation with touch, while enjoying PlayStation Vue"s look and feel."
If you already have a Vue account, you can link your subscription to your Apple TV and start watching shows right now. If you don"t have an account, you can sign up for one - although you"ll have to do so via the PS Vue website, as you won"t be able to register on your Apple TV box. Plans start at $29.99; or $39.99 if you"re in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, Dallas, San Francisco or Miami ("cities with major live local broadcast stations", as Sony describes them).
PlayStation Vue boasts a wide range of content - but as of last week, you"ll no longer be able to watch Viacom channels, such as Comedy Central, MTV or Spike, which were removed on November 11.
