If you"re missing the days when Sony"s naming scheme was a bit simpler, you"re probably not alone.
After Google announced the official name for Android 8.0 last Monday, HTC was among the first to confirm which of its devices will get the upgrade, and that includes the U11, U Ultra, and 10. Other OEMs are yet to make such an announcement; however, Google has confirmed that it"s coming to handsets from Sony, HTC, Nokia, Sharp, Huawei, Samsung, Essential, and Motorola.
Verizon has already rolled it out to its Pixel phones after Google released images for unlocked devices. Sony did not provide a timeline for the upgrades.
