Just 5.4% of Android devices have so far received the Lollipop update, but manufacturers around the world are gradually continuing to upgrade more of their devices to newer versions of the OS.
Sony has picked up the pace of its rollout, having upgraded many of its Xperia Z-Series devices in recent weeks, and promising to expand availability further. True to its word, the company has announced that two more of its handsets can now get a taste of that sweet Lollipop goodness.
The update has now been released for the Xperia T2 Ultra and Xperia C3 - but as with all such updates, availability may vary depending on your region and carrier, so if you can"t grab the update immediately, don"t panic just yet.
Sony continues to refer to its update as "Android 5.0", indicating that it is likely based on an older Lollipop build, rather than the newer Android 5.1 that has been available for some Nexus devices for a few weeks; or the very latest Android 5.1.1 release, which Google made available for the Nexus Player via its Developers site this week.
The next devices in Sony"s range to get the update will be from its Xperia Z-Series, including the Xperia Z, ZL, ZR and Tablet Z. The company says that its rollout for these devices will begin "in a few weeks time".
