Obviously trying to tap into the female gamer market Sony has announced new pink versions of their PS2 and PSP. These eye deforming colours will be announced next week at the Leipzig Games Convention according to IGN. This Europe-only colour will be limited edition and will launch on November 8th.
The PS2 will come with two pink dual shock controllers, and a cute *cough* memory card. British gamers will also be treated to the popular Singstar Pop game, which has already proved a huge hit with female gamers (as well as some drunk males gamers too). The price for the pink ps2 will be €159.99 across Europe and £129.99 for those in Britain.
The pink PSP will be released in collaboration with perky popstress P!nk, and contains the pink PSP, white headphones with remote control, pouch, wrist strap and a 32MB Memory Stick Duo. The P!nk PSP Value Pack will cost €229, or £169.
No word from Sony yet about its foreseeable venture into the makeup business.
