Today, Sony announced that its PlayStation Now game streaming service is available in seven more European countries starting today. The service works very similarly to Microsoft"s Xbox Game Pass in that you pay a monthly fee to get access to a large library of games from Sony"s consoles. The service has been around for significantly longer than the Xbox Game Pass, and there are now over 600 titles users can play on it.
Starting today, PlayStation Now is heading to Italy, Spain, Portugal, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, and Norway, which join other European countries such as the UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, Austria and Luxembourg. Users in these countries can now play their favorite games via cloud streaming on either the PlayStation 4 or a Windows PC. On a PlayStation 4, you can also save games directly on your hard drive.
The service costs €14.99 for one month or €99.99 for a whole year and it includes popular titles such as For Honor and many others. It"s also the only way to play many of Sony"s exclusive games on a PC, including major names such as The Last of Us or the Uncharted franchise. Included titles come from the PlayStation 2, 3, and 4, so you"ll also be getting some older titles alongside the more modern ones.
To learn more about PlayStation Now and subscribe to the service, you can head here and get a seven-day free trial. The service is also available in the United States, with an even larger library of over 750 games.
