It was only a couple months ago when Sony announced its Xperia XZ2 Premium handset. Now, the firm has offered a release date along with a price. What might comes as a surprise is that this will be one of the more expensive Android handsets to release in 2018 so far.
Sony will be releasing the Xperia XZ2 Premium on July 30 and the unlocked variant will be priced at $999.99. The phone can be pre-ordered from retailers like Amazon and Best Buy. If you want to take advantage of the pre-order, you will most likely want to go with Amazon, as it will be including a free pair of Xperia Ear Duo wireless headphones as well.
If unfamiliar with the Xperia XZ2 Premium, the phone will offer a 5.8-inch 4K (2160 x 3840) HDR display, be powered by Qualcomm"s Snapdragon 845 processor, have 6GB RAM, and 64GB internal storage with microSD expansion. The smartphone will pack dual rear camera sensors coming in at 19MP and 12MP, and will also feature a 13MP front-facing camera. The Xperia XZ2 Premium will make use of USB Type C for charging and will also sport a 3,540mAh battery.
