Sony's Xperia XZ3 might have been leaked, and it's very similar to the XZ2

The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium

Sony has already announced two flagship phones this year, and it looks like the company could be ready to announce a third one in the form of the Xperia XZ3. A leaked spec sheet has surfaced showcasing what appears to be a mix of elements from the XZ2 - released at MWC this year - and the XZ2 Premium announced just a couple of months ago.

If the leak is accurate, Sony"s third flagship for 2018 will include the same Snapdragon 845 chipset as both of the previous phones, the same 64GB of internal storage - though it looks as though it could offer a 128GB option - the 6GB of RAM and the dual-camera setup of the XZ2 Premium, while keeping the same screen size (5.7 inches) and resolution (2160 x 1080) of the XZ2.

The device will also be thinner than both of its predecessors at 10.1 millimeters while including a 3240 mAh that"s slightly larger than that of the XZ2. It will also have a USB 3.1 Type-C port and IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. Here are the full specs:

Launching a third flagship in the same year may seem like a strange move, but Sony tends to release a lot of phones despite their mild impact. We"ll have to wait to see if the Xperia XZ3 manages to turn heads when it does launch.
