At IFA Berlin, LG officially announced and revealed its latest handset, the V30. While the firm would go on to detail the smartphone"s OLED FullVision display with Floating Bar, dual cameras, 32-bit Advanced Hi-Fi Quad DAC, and more, it wouldn"t expand on a release date or price.
Although this might be the case, it hasn"t stopped carriers in the United States from bragging, with T-Mobile claiming that the V30 would be the world"s first smartphone to support 600MHz LTE. Now, it looks like Sprint is getting into the spirit, announcing that it will have its own customized version of the V30.
According to a tweet sent out by Sprint"s CEO Marcelo Claure, the wireless carrier will be getting a variant of the device known as the V30+. The smartphone will offer the same specifications as the original like a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor and 4GB RAM but will come with more internal storage, upgraded to 128GB from the usual 64GB.
As of now, Sprint hasn"t mentioned any pricing or release details. For the time being, we will have to be patient. But if there is one thing to take notice, it"s that the next month will be a very busy time in terms of smartphone releases.
