Sprint offering up to $650 to switch carriers

With the global release of the new Samsung Galaxy S5, it’s little surprise that wireless carriers are trying to capitalize on the momentum of the new device. One of the more interesting offers comes from U.S. based carrier Sprint. Sprint is offering up to $350 dollars USD back, when you sign up for a new line or add someone to your existing plan. For a limited time, customers that open a new line or transfer their existing line from another carrier will receive a Visa Prepaid Card worth up to $350 to cover early termination fees. If you were not under a contract this balance can be applied to the cost of a new Sprint handset.

If this promotion seems familiar it’s because T-Mobile has been offering this as part of its normal “Un-carrier” promotion. Those who are looking for a little more incentive, Sprint is also offering up to $300 when trading in a device. To take advantage of this offer be sure to enroll in the promotion when signing up for a contract, switch your number during the checkout process, submit your final bill from the previous carrier, and the Visa card should arrive in ten to twelve weeks. This offer will be valid until May 8th, 2014.
