Sprint smartphone leasing program expands to include LG G3 and Samsung Galaxy Note 4

Sprint has expanded its smartphone leasing program, Sprint Lease, to include two new smartphones, those being the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and the LG G3.

Sprint Lease allows customers to pay for their smartphone each month, with the cost spread over 24 months. It is therefore very attractive to consumers as it isn"t required for the device to be paid up-front.

The LG G3 will be available at $15 per month for 24 months, whilst the Galaxy Note 4 will be priced at $25 per month for the same time period. These prices exclude taxes and fees.

After the 24 month rental period, the customer can return the phone to Sprint and start a new agreement on a new smartphone, purchase the device, continue to lease the device or cancel the agreement after the lease has been paid.

Sprint Lease gives customers an affordable option to acquire LG G3 or Galaxy Note 4,” said Tom Roberts, senior vice president of Marketing, Sprint. “Through Sprint Lease, well-qualified customers can acquire the devices without paying any out-of-pocket costs at the point of sale. Sprint continues to offer customers the best value in wireless with its leasing program and monthly rate plans.

The LG G3 and Samsung Galaxy Note 4 are two very hot smartphones right now and Sprint is allowing more customers to get their hands on them which can only be a good thing; Sprint in return gains more customers which is certainly something it is interested in, after failing to takeover T-Mobile USA. This will hopefully also benefit the manufacturers, especially Samsung who have not been having the best time recently.

The smartphones are now available for purchase.
