Samsung has started rolling out the stable Android 10 update for the Galaxy Note9 running Android 9.0 Pie. Right now, the update is being rolled out for Note9 units in Germany, but a wider rollout should happen within the next few days.
The update comes less than a week after the South Korean company rolled out the update for all users who were a part of its Android 10 beta program. The company had started the One UI 2.0 beta program for the Galaxy S9 and Note9 in November last year.
Going by its past record, Samsung has been quick to push the Android 10 update for its devices this year. The company rolled out the stable Android 10 update for the Galaxy S10 in early December and followed it up with the Note10 in mid-December.
The Galaxy Note9 was Samsung"s flagship Note for 2018, so it is impressive to see the company provide the major Android update for its more than year-old flagship within 3-4 months of Google releasing it. The update for the Galaxy S9 shouldn"t be too far behind.
One UI 2.0/Android 10 comes with an enhanced permission manager, UI tweaks, new system animations, redesigned camera app, and more. You can read about all the top features of One UI 2.0 here.
