Electronic Arts" multi-platform games subscription service EA Play (formerly EA Access and Origin Access) is expanding in March with a number of high-profile additions. Both regular EA Play and Pro members have something coming at them during the month, and they are all EA-published titles.
Sports title Madden NFL 21 will be available via EA Play starting on March 2, which will be followed by the space combat game Star Wars: Squadrons sometime later in the month. EA is also bringing in NHL 21 to the subscription in April, but just like for Squadrons, no specific date was announced.
As for EA Play Pro, the PC-exclusive $14.99 a month subscription, the service is slated to gain the "genre-bending platform adventure co-op game" It Takes Two on March 26, its launch day. The game is developed by Hazelight Studios, the makers of A Way Out and Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons.
The $4.99 per month EA Play subscription is currently available on PC via Origin and Steam, as well as on Xbox and PlayStation platforms. Moreover, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members also gain access to the EA Play subscription on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. The EA Play service still hasn"t made its way to Xbox Game Pass for PC subscribers after its last-minute delay in December.
