Starbucks has been promising an app for Windows phones for months. It was first announced back in March, and the app was allegedly to be released in 30-45 days. In June, Adam Brotman of Starbucks said it was coming that month.
But the app never appeared, until today. It can now be seen on the Starbucks website"s list of mobile applications.
Of course, the "Get it on Windows 10" link only refreshes the page. The app isn"t live yet, so obviously there is no link to it in the Store.
You"ll notice that the list of features still isn"t exactly on par with its Android and iOS counterparts. The Android app also lists the ability to "discover what songs are playing in our stores" and "place a customized order and pay ahead with Mobile Order & Pay", and the iOS app lists the same as the Android app with the addition of "use Apple Watch to pay, track rewards and more".
Starbucks also launched an add-in for Outlook last month. The add-in allows users to easily schedule meetings at Starbucks with colleagues, and send gift cards.
There"s no telling for sure when the Starbucks app will launch for Windows, but by the looks of it, it certainly can"t be long now.
